Okay you have now passed your driving test and are about to hit the roads as a new driver. All that’s left is to find cheap car insurance but everywhere you try gives you an expensive quote so what should you do?

Pass Plus was created to give new drivers extra driver training to give them updated skills to deal with lots of advanced driving situations. You can sit Pass Plus with your driving instructor and on completion Pass Plus can save you up to 30% off your car insurance.

The reason your car insurance premiums can be so high is because statistically young or newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident, in fact in the first year of driving as many as 1 in 5 new drivers are involved in some kind of accident.
Age doesn’t matter – it’s basically down to a lack of driving experience

Pass Plus is made up of six practical modules which include:

Town driving
Driving in town can be daunting: rush hour traffic, complicated junctions and traffic systems... learn the skills to deal with all these and more

All-weather driving
Rain, fog, bright sunshine, snow and ice: find out how to drive safely in all the different weather conditions you'll face on the road.

Driving out of town
Country roads can harbour all kinds of hazards, from sharp bends and potholes to farm vehicles and animals in the road.

Night driving
Dealing with dazzle, judging distance and speed, using your lights correctly - these are just some of the areas covered.

Driving on dual carriageways
To drive safely on fast, multi-lane roads you'll need all your skills of observation, concentration, anticipation and lane discipline.

Driving on Motorways
Motorways are like no other roads: learn how to drive on them safely and correctly under expert supervision.

As you are trained by a professional Pass Plus Registered Instructor there are no other tests to take, and you will quickly gain valuable experience and raise your driving standard to a higher, safer level. A minimum of 6 hours training is required and upon completion you will be awarded a Certificate from the Driving Standards Agency which will enable you to earn a substantial discount on your motor insurance premium from any of the companies in the scheme.
