Lessons will be for a minimum of 1
hour's duration.
If for any reason I am running late I will make a
concerted effort to inform the pupil of my estimated
time of arrival. Should the delay be greater than 15
minutes this time be adjusted either by holding to
credit or extending the next suitable lesson.
Driving lessons will be conducted on a one to one
basis. A record of progress will be kept by me and a
copy available to the pupil on request.
Pupils must be prepared to accept the guidance of
their Instructor, particularly with regard to safety
and any relevant legislation and to comply at all
times with the requirements of the Highway Code and
the Road Traffic Acts. The Pupil certifies that they
are a holder of a valid provisional or full licence
(car) in their name which is duly signed.
In the event of a cancellation by the pupil at least
24 hours notice must be given, failure to do so may
result in the lesson being charged at the full rate.
If I need to postpone or reschedule the lesson the
required 24 hours notice will be given.
I will not be made liable should any mechanical or
electrical failure occur to any part of my vehicle
either preventing the lesson or your practical test
from occurring. No lesson payment or test fee will be
sought by you from me in such instances.
Normal practice allows you to have at least an hour's
driving lesson immediately before your practical test
prior to going to the test centre.
If on the day of your test is cancelled by the DSA due
to bad weather sickness or staff shortages then I will
not charge you for the for test time.
I accept payment by cash or cheque. Lessons must be
paid for either on the day or by advanced block
bookings, details of discounts for advanced block
booking are available on request.
Cheques are payable to School of Motoring
I will safeguard and account for any monies paid in
advance by you in respect of driving lessons, test
fees or for any other purpose and will make the
details available for you on request. Receipts are
provided on request.
Should the bank not honour payment by cheque, lessons
will cease until the outstanding amount, plus incurred
bank charges, is paid in cash. Any / all future
lessons must then be paid in cash.
I reserve the right to change or alter any of the
terms and conditions without notice, but will
endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as
possible. |
